A body-centered approach to therapy

A Body Centered
Approach to Therapy

“In order to change, people need to become aware of their sensations and the way that their bodies interact with the world around them. Physical self-awareness is the first step in releasing the tyranny of the past.” - Bessel Van Der Kolk

Jodi is a licensed mental health therapist practicing in Seattle, Washington. Jodi has a deep respect for the therapeutic process and considers it a collaborative method of healing. She is committed to helping her clients access the resources they need for their healing and growth.

I believe that the relationship between client and therapist is integral to finding success with therapy, I offer the first session free of charge to ensure we are a good fit.

I seek to create a space that allows students to explore their practice with curiosity and authenticity. My classes emphasize consistent attunement to the breath as a means of creating greater quiet in the mind and spaciousness in the body.
